For every one who dreams of a world where no pet is left behind – or anyone simply looking for a taste of companion-animal affection – there’s Pet Fun Fest and Adopt A Pet-athon www.petfunfest.ca

This groundbreaking public event at Studio 3, Downsview Park (40 Carl Hall Road) will bring together animal lovers and pet welfare communities for a tail wagging and illuminating experience. All ages are invited to meet and learn all about cats and dogs of all descriptions, from pocket pets to big best friends. The overriding objective: to spread awareness of the wonderful world of companion animals and to help homeless pets.

Also featured: Guest speakers, vendors and ” speed-dating” sessions. PLUS – with an eye on the Guinness Book – there’ll be an attempt at a Canadian record for the largest simultaneous mass “Stay” with some 200 dogs. Other attractions include Canada’s greatest “disc dog” team, Angela Ewtushik and her dog Rally. The team of Angela and Rally are winners of the 2009 World Skyhoundz pairs free-style event.

Admission: $5.00 per human | $2.00 per dog | $15.00 per family
