Woofstock – A Festival for Dogs

Woofstock® kicks off summer fun with the biggest and most spectacular canine block party in North America! The historic St. Lawrence Market Market Neighborhood June 13 & 14. Each June, this city’s St.Lawrence district closes its streets to traffic, European boulevardier-style, east from Yonge Street to Jarvis – and 140,000 plus dogs and their owners hit the streets – for a weekend of doggie food, fashion, contests and fun.
New at Woofstock®: Yappy Hour! with “wooftini ” evening cocktails. A deejay will spin tunes from 6pm – 9pm on Saturday, June 13 in Market Lane Park . And, for the very first time Woofstock will hold an Ugliest Dog Contest at 7:00pm.
Shopping, Contests and Pageants
More than 200 companies will be offering the latest in every conceivable doggy indulgence – pooch paraphernalia from food to toys, gadgets to unique services, turning the closed streets into the ultimate canine shopping experience.
And a coterie of top comics, including Mark Breslin (host), Colin Mochrie, Judy Croon and Geri Hall will be judging for Saturday’s contests line-up. Nikki Payne (host), Simon Fraser, Shannon Laverty and Ted Morris will be judging for Sunday’s contests line-up.
