A Celebration of Dogs and Their Importance in Our lives
A fundraiser for Canine Cancer Research
Sunday, September 20th, 2009. Woodbine Beach Park, in Toronto’s east end
Presented by A Touch of Love Spaw & Wellness Centre for Pets and Beaches Pet-tenders, a dog walking service. The event will raise money to support Guelph University’s canine cancer research through The Smiling Blue Skies, a fundraising body that works on behalf of the Ontario Veterinary College’s Pet Trust Fund.
Hot Diggity Dog in the Beaches! will be a fun-filled afternoon and an action-packed day from 11:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. “Parade of Stars” along the Boardwalk – pledge sheets can be downloaded from the event website.
Live steel band music, Live auction, Performing dogs entertainment by Who’s Walking Who Dog Training Center, Animal communicator demonstrations, Simultaneous Dog Stay
Bouncing and face-painting for children Prizes, raffle and much more!
So bring a picnic and bring out the WHOLE family…including the canine family members. Let’s celebrate dogs and help find treatments and cures for canine cancer.
