Slamdance Film Festival Co-founder & President Peter Baxter shares his wag of a tale of a runty plastic dog he rescued from a puddle in southeast Turkey six years ago. How it inspired them to give bronze dogs, called a Sparky to Slamdance filmmakers. The Sparky awards are given annually to film recipients in the Audience, Jury and Sponsored Categories. This festival takes place in Park City, Utah.
