Isle of Dogs is a stop-motion film written and directed by Wes Anderson. Countless hours and 27 Animators were went into creating this film. Anderson revealed to Yahoo Entertainment his two sources of inspiration – his obsession with the stop-motion pioneer, Ray Harryhausen‘s animated Christmas television specials, and his admiration for the late, great Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa. With the success of Anderson’s first stop-motion animation feature Fantastic Mr. Fox , we can look forward to seeing another masterpiece. Isle of Dogs opens in theatres near you March 23, 2018.
