File it under the things we do for love. We will go the extra mile to keep our companion animals healthy, happy, safe… and clean.  And when it comes to sensitive operations – like, say, pulling grass out of a dog’s lower digestive tract – well, it happens.  And wet paper towels don’t really cut it.

Eco-friendly Earthbath® has developed a new line: Tushy Wipes. It’s a handy doggy-wipe intended to clean and neutralize odour in pets’ nether regions.  I’ve used them on Otis, a senior wheaten terrier.  He wasn’t too upset or embarrassed by the process. And it didn’t appear to irritate any sensitive area.

Earthbath® Tushy wipes contain a list of beneficial ingredients such as : Hawaiian awaphuhi extract (wild ginger), cucumber extract, aloe vera, vitamin E and German chamomile to provide and support a soothing cleanse. And it has saccharomyces ferment filtrate as an odour-killing additive (kind of a yeast/fungus anti-bacterial). As well, the wipes are free of common chemical cleanser ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate/sodium laureth sulfate (SLS/SLES) and Paraben.

That said, Earthbath Tushy Wipes should not be flushed.
